We require an ambulatory equine vet to join our established team. Experience in practice is desired but not essential. We are looking for dynamic team players with excellent communication skills who will offer good client care whilst developing their professional skills.
Your clients will range from family pony owners to competition riders and commercial yards You will have the best mobile equipment (DR, ultrasound, endoscope, gastroscope, motorised dental equipment, shockwave, laser) at your disposal to enable you to deliver optimal client care either at the clients' yard or at our clinic. The clinic has stabling facilities alongside a soft and hard trot up and lunge areas, stocks, examination suite and basic onsite laboratory. Not only can we offer the support of your local team but also the backup of a state-of-the-art fully equipped equine hospital supported by Surgical, Medical and Imaging Diplomats within the practice, in close vicinity to the clinic. This position is currently offered as a fixed term 6-month post with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. It could be a full time or part-time role, a minimum of 3 days a week plus OOH Rota will be 1 in 6 for all candidates.
