Regional Directors are vital to the success of our business. They provide support, coaching and leadership to enable our people and practices to achieve their full potential. Day-to-day our Regional Directors; give strategic direction and leadership to our practices; ensure the delivery of excellent clinical and client care; provide consistent support, training and coaching to meet the needs of practice teams; and help maximise the operational performance of each practice.
Our Clinical Directors lead and support our practice teams. The role is open to qualified veterinary surgeons already in leadership or experienced vets with a desire to progress into a management role. Our Clinical Directors are supported by a wide clinical support network throughout our group.
Our veterinary roles include a variety of consults, surgeries and sole charge. There’s the ability to become involved in QI projects and the opportunity to move into advanced practitioner, certificate holder, internship, specialist or management roles. Our vets are supported by an advanced practitioner and specialist clinical network.
The operational anchor for all of our sites, our Practice directors and Managers recruit, train and supervise team members. They play a huge role managing day-to-day operations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. From veterinary or non-veterinary backgrounds they normally have management or leadership experience.
We encourage our nurses to be the nurse they want to be! We promote career and skills development and support our nurses in schedule 3 procedures where they wish to. CVS offers an exciting and varied caseload and career development with our internal Nursing Career Pathway. There’s also the ability to move into leadership roles.
Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for animals make great Patient Care Assistants. The PCA role is one of the foundations of an outstanding veterinary practice, and our PCAs are involved in supporting our team of qualified RVNs and Vets to provide outstanding care to our patients. Many of our PCAs go on to be veterinary nurses.
Our valued receptionists are the backbone of our practices. On the front line, they regularly act as the key point-of-contact for clients - a key focus of the role. They also play a huge role in organising the workload of a practice, including triaging cases. We offer regular sessions to support our receptionists, where team members collaborate, share experiences and support one-another.
