The role of the Clinical Director includes:
To provide leadership, management and support for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
Overall responsibility for the clinical and behavioural standards within the practice ensuring they are in line with the RCVS code of professional conduct and the CVS Clinical Governance standards.
Work in partnership with the Practice Manager, Head Nurse and reception team in developing a successful business to support the best possible service for clients and patient
Responsible for the financial performance of the clinic in conjunction with the Practice Manager and Regional Director.
Deliver and maintain the highest standards of governance in relation to clinical meetings, CPD, clinical development planning and creating clinical frameworks, clinical audit and recording of unexpected clinical events.
Provide appropriate surgical and medical care to patients, adhering to the RCVS five principles of practice.
Attend scheduled Regional and Hub meetings, Conferences and roadshows.
