Summary of role:

The E-commerce Executive will provide support in the delivery and development of our websites and support the content development programme and digital marketing across CVS Group. The role holder will support the Digital Journey and Content Lead to drive digital first thinking and support the roadmap and content build across CVS e-commerce sites. This is a collaborative role with exposure to a number of our internal teams.

 

Please note – this role is remote with some travel to CVS sites

 

  • Supporting the creation and execution of a digital journey and content strategy.
  • Project-support and deliver the continuous development of CVS e-commerce websites, ensuring best-practice, compliance with relevant regulations, and relevant new tech is applied to maximise marketing efforts
  • Implement structural updates to cross functional websites and interlinks
  • Managing content updates on multiple websites using various Content Management Systems
  • Supporting the ongoing audit of websites and content making recommendations and improving developments to improve accessibility, usability and navigation
  • Support the wider digital marketing teams to ensure the content roadmap prioritises the requirements of all teams.
  • Stakeholder management of BAU change requests that they are required to fulfil, within the appropriate SLAs
  • Working with our internal teams to generate, maintain and enhance content.
  • Supporting the Digital Content and Journey Lead merchandise the site
  • Ensuring sales funnel is optimised to improve conversion rates
  • Upload products to the site, manage attributes

 

 

Key Skills Required:

  • Understanding of role of web sites in attracting new customers and driving sales & engagement.
  • Knowledge of content management systems, Magento or Adobe advantageous.  
  • Knowledge of HTML, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of web publishing, metadata, SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Proofreading, copy editing, reformatting and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of sales funnels and optimisation of those funnels.
  • A team player with great interpersonal skills, who is positive, proactive and not afraid to ask questions.
  • Able to develop and maintain good relationships with all internal clients.
  • Attention to detail. Ensuring content has been double checked and accurate before going live.
  • Ability to manage own workload whilst working well under pressure and to tight deadlines

 

 

In addition to a salary of up to £27,000 DOE, we offer a range of company benefits including:
