Do you only want to work 15 weeks out of the year? Do you want a role that fits around your lifestyle?
We have an exciting opportunity for an OOH Vet to join the team at MiNightVet Ipswich for a 15-month fixed term contract. Our emergency clinic is only open nights, weekends and bank holidays, so when you choose to join our team you'll no longer be part of the Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 daily rush.
We are looking for someone to start in this role from April 2025 and help our service develop and grow, due to this we are looking for Vets with proven experience or interest in ECC. We have opportunities for you to be part of our lovely team!
Your wellbeing and work life balance is our top priority so we are making sure that there is a strong team supporting you and that the caseload remains manageable for you and your colleagues.
Within the role, you will work a sustainable rota of a Sunday day every 4 weeks and then 7 nights on 21 off (7pm to 8am) with only 2 bank holiday days per year. We can also accommodate a rota pattern of 1 week working Sunday day, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday night, 7 nights off, and then working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, then 14 nights off – please let us know what works for you!
Within this exciting new opportunity, we are able to offer you:
A salary of up to £80k FTE depending on experience
Our predictable rota allowing time for other interests
Emergency cases only allowing exposure to wide range of clinical challenges
No booked routine appointments on shift
RCVS and VDS fees paid
Funding towards visa sponsorship
Funding towards a certificate in emergency and critical care (Not only that if you have already started we'll also help pay any outstanding certificate fees you might have too!)
Accommodation available during your week of working as well as use of a vehicle
Stress-free on-site parking
