New Graduate Farm Vet – Three Valleys Veterinary – Northern Ireland – New Graduate Programme
An exciting opportunity awaits a newly qualified Vet looking to work as a Farm Vet.
Three Valleys Veterinary is a mixed animal veterinary practice, first established in 2001. The practice operates from premises in Irvinestown (County Fermanagh) and Fivemiletown (County Tyrone).
This is a full time, permanent Farm Vet position.
We are a well-equipped and pro-active eleven clinical vet mixed practice, with a mix of full and part time clinicians. All our vets have access to Total Vet software along with access to Easi-scan scanners. We look after a number of progressive dairy farms, plus a range of beef, sheep and small holding enterprises. As part of the CVS group, we have a Diploma holder working within the Northern Ireland region, who works alongside our vets to support and encourage ongoing development. As a practice, we also have a vet with a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice who is keen to support with learning and development. As we practice are running various successful client programmes - including a successful flock health club and routine client meetings for dairy and beef clients.
We operate on a 1 in 4 OOH rota (with full back up provided by a senior vet), with 2 days offered off in lieu of each weekend worked. This is beneficial for someone wanting to achieve a fulfilling career whilst maintaining a good work – life balance.
