Linden House Vets, Diss, Norfolk - New Graduate Programme - Small Animal Vet
Exciting opportunity for a New Graduate Vet to join our friendly and supportive team. Two of our current vets started with us as new graduates themselves, 11 and 6 years ago respectively, so we are keen to find another like minded team member.
We are a forward-thinking, care centred practice of 4 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 4 receptionists. We have the ISFM silver award, and we are a member of the ‘Dogs Trust Dog Friendly' scheme. We see a variety of GP cases and allow plenty of time in the day for work up and procedures, so we are happy to support any special interests. This is a full-time position with no OOH commitments, working one Saturday morning in four, with time given back in lieu.
We offer 15 minute consults as a minimum and booked-off admin time throughout the day, giving you the time to call clients with results, research cases or just catch up with the team and a well-deserved cup of tea. A new graduate would be supported with additional booked off study time and 1-1 shadowing with all our vets on surgical days, as well as the expected time with your GPD mentor.
As well as enjoying our modern facilities, well equipped practice and a varied caseload, you will have access to a range of benefits and our tailor made New Graduate programme offering you the right support network in practice by ensuring you have an experienced clinical mentor working alongside you in your practice. In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.
These are just some of the benefits of the programme:
