Exciting opportunity for a New Graduate to work in a stunning coastal location and with the opportunity to work in a Hospital! We can also provide accommodation.
Here at Pet Doctors Isle of Wight Hub we have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate Vets to join our team on a permanent basis. The Hub includes a RCVS accredited Hospital allowing you to work on a diverse range of emergency and critical cases. Our hospital is supported by our 4 branches and is fully equipped with 6 anaesthetic stations, CT scanner, Laparoscopic kit, ECG, ultrasound, Digital X-ray, fibre optic endoscopes and a dental suite allowing our staff to consistently deliver high quality diagnostic and surgical patient care. You will work at both the Hospital and branch practices. We have a dedicated team of 17 vets, 18 nurses (RVNs and SVNs), 35 support staff 6 dedicated night staff who as a team provide an excellent support network and pride themselves in delivering clinical excellence to all. We also value the success and development of our staff and fully support and encourage a diverse range of CPD opportunities aimed at developing the teams clinical interests including certificates. We have certificate holders in Internal Medicine and Surgery as well as a visiting Cardiologist. We also have 2 vets working towards certificates in Dermatology and Cardiology and can provide an excellent level of support to our New Graduates.

In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

Paid onboarding phase which includes a Residential. All UK travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for the Residential will be covered by CVS
Salary of £35,000 which increases at the end of year 1 and at the end of year 2
No financial tie-in beyond completion of the programme.
