We operate a leading RCVS specialist-led, multi-disciplinary referral hospital in Castle Donington near Derby, specialising in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue, Oncology, and Dermatology.  We also provide certificate led services in Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology, as well as a first opinion and out-of-hours emergency service to the local area.

We require an experienced Nurse Manager who has a proven excellent leadership experience.  The ideal candidate will share our vision in providing gold standard clinical and client care, creating a great team and to be a fantastic   place to work

 

Summary of role

  • To comply with all aspects of the RVN role as set out in the corresponding job description.
  • Responsible and accountable for leadership and development of a very large nursing team in a multidisciplinary hospital
  • Responsible and accountable for setting and delivering excellent standards of patient care.
  • Responsible and accountable for the delivery of all CVS services in line with the scope and quality required by CVS and for ensuring a customer service culture.
  • Responsible and accountable for all aspects of nursing team management; including recruitment, team development and wellbeing, absence reporting and performance monitor in line with CVS policy.
  • Responsible and accountable for setting compliance with all professional regulations, legislations and standards associated with independent accreditation such as the RCVS practice standards scheme.
  • Responsible and accountable for identifying and delivering new ways to deliver exceptional patient and client care
