We have an exciting opportunity available for a Night Vet at Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group. The position is based at our well-equipped Alnwick branch, where an onsite registered veterinary nurse is present.
The shift will include inpatient care, emergencies and evening consultations. Working in Emergency Out of Hours is a fantastic opportunity for vets and nurses who want to make a real difference to owners and their pets at a critical moment in their lives.
The caseload is varied and exciting, offering the opportunity to grow in skills and confidence whilst working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
We are a busy, progressive first opinion practice with our dedicated out of hours night team, looking for a skilled and self-motivated Veterinary Surgeon with some experience dealing with emergencies and critical care cases. Within the team, we encourage each other to pursue career aspirations and are looking for vets who strive to complete their jobs to the best of their ability.
We would love a vet who will take pride in being a motivated team player, is passionate about ECC and wants to support their colleagues whilst giving gold standard care to pets and their owners.

Hours and Salary
The role is 7 nights on, then 14 off (can be split into two runs of 3 or 4 nights - 7 nights within a 3-week block).
Salary is dependent on experience along with benefits.
We also have a relocation allowance that is available to candidates moving to the area and support with Visa costs.
