Are you passionate about animals and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service? Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists, one of the UK's leading specialist referral centres, is looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Referral Veterinary Receptionist to join our front-of-house team!
Location: Alton, Hampshire Contract: Permanent Hours: Saturdays 8am-4pm and Sundays 9am-3pm (we can offer some flexibility with timings on Sundays as long as the core 6hours are covered)

About the Role: As a Referral Veterinary Receptionist at Lumbry Park, your role will be vital to creating a welcoming, professional, and friendly experience for pet owners, visitors, and telephone callers. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Greeting clients and ensuring their needs are met with care and attention
Answering phone calls, booking appointments, and managing client queries via phone, email, and in-person
Handling payment transactions and insurance forms
Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
Working closely with our veterinary team to support the best outcomes for our patients

What We're Looking For: We are seeking a motivated, friendly individual who:
Has previous receptionist experience (veterinary or customer service experience is a plus!)
Possesses excellent communication skills and empathy
Is resilient and able to handle emotionally challenging situations
Works well in a team and is adaptable to varying tasks
Is proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
