We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us on a 12-month Maternity Cover at the newly refurbished clinics of Gourley Veterinary Surgeons based in Ashton-under-Lyne and Denton.
This exciting opportunity is a full-time role, working approximately 38.5 hours per week and offering a salary of up to £30,000 FTE dependent on experience plus benefits.
You will be joining our established team on a 12-month Maternity Cover and will enjoy being part of a friendly, welcoming and supportive team, within a spacious practice. We are well equipped, with up-to-date equipment, are forward thinking and this role offers all aspects of general practice nursing.

The role…
· Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of patients
· Assist our Vets during surgical and medical procedures
· Monitor and support the recovery of patients post-surgery
· Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Support and collaborate with your peers
· Contribute to the efficient running of the practice, including inventory management and client communication
· Support and run nursing clinics
You'll bring…
· Must be RCVS registered or equivalent
· A passion for animal care and welfare
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Salary and Hours:
The salary is up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
Full-time hours for this role are 38.5 hours per week and working 1 in 3 Saturdays.
Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 7pm and Saturdays 9am – 4pm
