We are looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join our team at Fernside Vets on an 11-month fixed term contract to cover maternity. We encourage our nurses to work to their full potential giving them great job satisfaction on a daily basis. We really appreciate the brilliant value nurses bring to the clinic, clients and patients.
This position is for 32-40 hours per week over 4 days with no OOH or weekends. We can be flexible with this and also accept part time applications with a minimum of 24 hours over 3 days.
Your role will cover all general nursing duties including consulting/clinics, anaesthetics, patient care, lab work, x-ray and imaging. We pride ourselves on being a very progressive practice in utilisation of nurse skills and as such there is good scope for development of interests and skills within the role.
As our new team member you will receive:
Salary of up to £34,000 FTE DOE
Up to 7 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays with our Buy/Sell holiday scheme - allowing you to purchase an additional two weeks of annual leave (Pro Rata)
