Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: West End Vets, Edinburgh (Tollcross and Morningside)
Salary: up to £30,000 per annum DOE FTE + Benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week worked over 5 days, 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm), NO OOH!

West End Vets are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, enthusiastic, and supportive team at West End Vets, Edinburgh.
About us: We are a busy practice who pride ourselves in delivering the highest level of veterinary care for our loyal clients and their pets. Our surgeries in Edinburgh city centre and in Morningside are well equipped to allow case work ups to a high standard. Our caseload includes small animal, exotics (10%), and cats (between 40-50%).
As a team, we socialise on a regular basis and put on giant Jenga and pumpkin carving activities!

What we are looking for: We would like a Nurse who is hard working, cares about having a good rapport with clients and staff and is dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care. You will be expected to be monitor anaesthesia, dealing with in-patients, dispensing and nurse consults. Schedule 3 is encouraged and supported, allowing you to be the Nurse you trained to be. You will be based in our Bread Street practice, with the requirement to cover at our Morningside practice when required.
If you wish to develop your clinical skills further, we are happy to support this and have recently launched our level 5 advanced certificate in veterinary nursing. As a nurse you will have access to a whole range of courses to grow and expand your knowledge.
