Dovecote Veterinary Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.

We are a multi-disciplinary specialist led referral centre in the East Midlands covering orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, oncology, internal medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology. We have CT and MRI on site as well as direct digital x-ray. We also offer a first opinion service and provide out of hours emergency cover for several practices with our MiNightVet service.

The successful candidate will be a minimum of 2 years qualified and ideally have previous experience of working in a busy hospital or referral environment. Any additional qualifications, such as certificates, would be advantageous. You should also be able to demonstrate clinical competence in standard nursing protocols. As a member of our large  team you will need to be an excellent communicator, a team player and self-motivated with a positive attitude. We want to support growth and development, we encourage and support CPD including certificates.

This is a permanent full time role, working 40 hours per week, with a mixture of early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays are on a rota including daytime emergency OOH care. Salary £28,000 to £38,000 depending on experience.
