Assist with all stud activities and support vets during procedures inc insemination, semen collection and embryo transfer.

Duties:

  • Mucking out/Grooming, general yard duties.
  • Setting up of equipment and assisting vets in all stud duties
  • General care of all horses on site including stallions and mares with foals.
  • All equipment cleaning and ensuring the correct equipment is ready for stud 
    procedures.

Skills / Experience:

  • Yard or equine experience essential
  • Flexibility and commitment
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment
  • Full clean driving license
  • Time management and a good team player.

Hours of work:

  • This is a seasonal position needed from April-September. 45 hours per week 
     including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
