We have a wonderful opportunity based in Middlesbrough, working 1 week of nights, followed by 2 weeks off, along with 1 set of weekend days every 6 weeks. This equates to approx. 32 hours per week and would be on an annualised contract.
Salary is up to £66,000, depending on experience, plus benefits. The stated salary reflects a 32-hour workweek and is not calculated on a pro rata basis.
The role
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and caring Veterinarian Surgeon to take on an out-of-hours (OOH) position in our MiNightVet service in Middlesbrough.
MiNightVet Middlesbrough is a small animal out of hours veterinary emergency service, welcoming dogs, cats and small mammals. We are based in Middlesbrough and provide emergency overnight and weekend care to clients.
The MiNightVet team provide a dedicated emergency service with a full-time night nurse who will be alert and effective even during unsociable hours. The qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.
This position would suit an experienced Veterinarian Surgeon who has surgical experience in routine and emergency procedures and possesses good communication skills. You will have a team player mentality and a passion to deliver excellent care and client service.

This shift pattern equates to approx. 32 hours per week and would be on an annualised contract. Due to the work pattern, there is the opportunity to add additional locum work on top with great rates within CVS.
