Farthings is a two site practice based in the historical towns of Horsham and Billingshurst, it is within an hour train ride to London and around 45 minutes to the seaside. Situated between the North and South Downs, it creates great opportunity for outdoor life and boasts excellent dog walking locations. The practice is well established with 10 FTE vets and a generous 19 FTE RVNs. The practice can offer a varied caseload with it's clients, and have a high percentage dedicated to the Healthy Pet Club and a high standard of care for their pets.
Farthings Veterinary Group are searching for a Senior Vet to join their well-established, close knit team on a full time basis, however have flexible working patterns for discussion.

The role of the Senior Vet includes:
Support Practice Director by leading and driving clinical standards in the practice, ensuring high standards of patient care
Supporting junior members of the team, providing excellent mentoring and teaching while they master basic surgical procedures
Collaborating with the Practice Director to optimise client service and business growth, budgeting and finances.
Ensuring all care aligns with the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct and delivers appropriate medical and surgical care, attending scheduled clinical meetings.
Experienced in undertaking emergency procedures such as exploratory laparotomies, pleural effusion drainage and bladder unblocking for male cats.
Driving forward the practice in forward-thinking medical and clinical techniques.
