We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our Springfield Veterinary Hospital in Rotherham.
This position offers a competitive salary between £40,000-£70,000 (depending on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package. It is a full-time position, however, we are happy to discuss flexible options to help you enjoy a healthy work life balance.
Why us…
24-hour hospital with night staffed by our own dedicated OOH team
We take AP-led referrals in surgery, medicine and cardiology
Hospital extended in May 2022, including the installation of a CT scanner
The second practice in the country to be awarded all 6 “Outstanding” RCVS awards
Our practice is friendly and forward-thinking with a very supportive team. As a practice, we have a very collaborative approach with a lot of case discussion and skill sharing between vets and nurses. We have regular team and governance meetings in which everyone is welcome to bring ideas for improving our ways of working.
Our 24-hour hospital is rated “outstanding” by the RCVS and has a dedicated night team. We have several advanced practitioners across our group who work alongside some fantastic GPs, and we're happy to support the level of development you want for job satisfaction, whichever route that may take.
What we're looking for…
The ideal applicant would have enough first opinion experience to be able to work independently, enjoy providing a high level of clinical care, and be happy to work as part of a large team. The position would be more suited to a colleague with a medical bias.
Our needs are flexible, and while we would welcome applicants for a full-time permanent position, we'd also be happy to consider part-time work or a fixed-term contract. Many of our team have young families and we try to support flexible working wherever possible.
