Veterinary Surgeon - Salary up to £60k and 4-day weeks!
We are looking for a Vet Who Loves Building Relationships & Tailoring Care. This vacancy is based at our Longwell Green branch but will include some shifts at our Keynsham and Brislington branches. This is a full-time position, offering a 40-hour week across 4-days with a dedicated day off, ensuring a good work-life balance - we can also accept and consider part-time applications. Minimum two years experience is required.
We know that being a vet is about more than just medicine—it's about the relationships you build, the trust you earn, and the difference you make in both pets' and owners' lives. If that resonates with you, we'd love to chat!
One of our lovely vets is relocating, which means we have an opportunity for someone new to join our team. We're looking for a vet with at least three years' experience who enjoys a holistic, tailored approach to care and loves getting to know their patients and clients. If you have a particular interest in medicine or cardiology, even better! Our departing vet was partway through their medicine certificate, so if you're keen to develop your skills in that area, we'd be more than happy to support you.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent veterinary care to a variety of patients across our three branches.
- Sharing the in-house on-call rota (1:8) for inpatients only – this is a very quiet rota.
- Participating in the Saturday rota (1:4) from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Actively engaging with our team of certificate holders in diagnostic imaging, medicine, and surgery to enhance your own skills and development.
What can we offer you?:
- A supportive environment that encourages both personal and professional growth.
- The chance to work alongside experienced certificate holders who can provide mentorship and learning opportunities.
- A sociable and inclusive team culture, with regular team events and get-togethers outside of work.
- Access to the CVS Refresh budget, which we use for team treats and great coffee!
