Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced ambulatory equine vet with a strong interest in stud medicine to join our team. This opportunity is available as either a fixed term or permanent position to suit the right candidate.
The successful applicant will enjoy varied ambulatory work alongside an established breeding caseload. We are looking for a confident ambulatory vet who is keen to combine breeding work with a broad range of general equine practice, including first opinion and emergency work. We would encourage developing other areas of interest and fully support post graduate certificates. The role would suit someone with at least three years of equine ambulatory experience and a good foundation in reproductive work.
Bell Equine has been fortunate to work with Equicall as our dedicated out of hours provider since 2021, meaning there is no routine ambulatory out of hours commitment. The role would include participation in the stud rota which runs from March to August.
Supported by our hospital team, our vets benefit from regular informal CPD, including imaging rounds, hospital rounds, morbidity and mortality discussions, and multidisciplinary case discussions. Bell Equine also provides access to excellent referral facilities, including MRI, CT and scintigraphy. Our purpose-built RCVS-accredited hospital has been awarded Outstanding in all five Practice Standards Scheme categories.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, with BEVA and RCVS subscriptions paid.
Based in the heart of Kent, we benefit from excellent transport links to London and easy access to Europe via Eurostar.
