Join our team at Valley Equine Hospital!
We are looking for an ambulatory vet for an initial 12 month maternity cover with the potential to become a permanent role. Ideally, the role would commence in March 2026 but we may be able to offer some flexibility for the right candidate.
Valley Equine comprises a hospital team of 2 surgeons, 2 interns, 5 RVNS and 2 PCAs and an ambulatory team of 6 vets, supported by our admin team and on site lab. We treat pet ponies to group one winning racehorses with everything in between. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and sociable bunch who try to ensure that vets have appropriate support, professional development and find their work engaging and fulfilling.
This is a full time role (Monday to Friday) with a 1:4 share of the out of hours rota. Salary is commensurate with experience with an excellent employee benefits package.
VEH is situated in Lambourn, ‘The Valley of the Racehorse'. We are well located for transport links and are surrounded by beautiful countryside with towns such as Oxford, Swindon, Hungerford and Marlborough within easy reach.
