Summary of role:
We are looking for someone to join our friendly team on a 14 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity.
This role has responsibility for supporting the Group Credit Control Manager with the Group's cash collections processes and procedures. Please note, you do not need to have previous credit control experience to be considered for this role, however we would like to see strong customer service experience. The principal aspects of the role are:
Supporting practices with debt management queries.
Completing weekly and monthly debt reports.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Group.
Support in the collection of non practice debt across the group.
Support with the timely processing and administration of 0% credit agreements.
Role Responsibilities:
Supporting practices with debt management queries:
Provide support to 500+ veterinary practices, including their Regional Debt Administrators on all debt management queries including 3rd party debt collection agency requests.
Assist sites with implementing and maintaining the Group Credit Control Policy.
Support sites with 0% credit agreement queries and complete individual credit checks as required.
Support for any other debt related issues as raised by the Group Credit Control Manager.
Completing weekly and monthly debt reports.
Prepare weekly debt movement reports to be shared with key Stakeholders across the Group.
Assist the Group Credit Control Manager with monthly reporting.
Prepare ad-hoc reports for the Group Credit Control Manager ahead of site visits.
Maintaining non practice debt
Ensuring payments are on track to be paid within the agreed terms.
Notify debtors by letter, email, or telephone call of upcoming or outstanding invoices.
Keeping detailed records of collection activities and
Ensuring timely reconciliation of customer accounts and providing statements of accounts as required.
Key Skills Required:
Previous Credit Control Experience, or experience in a customer service environment
Excellent organisational skills
High attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create detailed reports.
Knowledge / experience of debt litigation process and proceedings in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Strong interpersonal skills
Full, clean driving licence required
