Key Responsibilities

As a Buyer at CVS, you will:

• Strengthen Supplier Relationships: Work closely with suppliers and wholesalers to position Animed as the preferred online partner in the pet care industry.
• Strategic Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, secure marketing budgets, and oversee joint business plans.
• Category Management: Own the buying process for assigned categories, manage supplier negotiations, and optimize product mix to enhance profitability.
• Promotional Planning: Collaborate with vendors to develop impactful promotions and monitor their performance for continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless digital customer journey and support marketing campaigns.

Ideal Skills and Experience

• Industry Experience: 3+ years in a buying or account management role, preferably within retail or e-commerce in the pet industry.
• E-commerce Expertise: 2+ years of experience in a digital retail environment with a strong understanding of digital marketing.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with BI systems to interpret sales reports.
• Negotiation and Relationship-Building: Strong skills in these areas to effectively manage supplier and stakeholder interactions.

• Competitive Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
