The Role
As a Clinical Director, you'll provide clinical leadership across the hospital in Caterham the two branches (Merstham and Smallfield) as well as the Out Of Hours service (24/7), championing our values and supporting them to achieve outstanding clinical standards. This will involve weekend shifts on a rota, the level of OOH work can be discussed as we have a well established OOH team supported by an experienced Lead Vet.
You'll inspire, coach and develop colleagues while ensuring high-quality patient care remains at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing clinical leadership while continuing to work as a veterinary surgeon.
Inspiring, coaching and developing teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Driving continuous improvement in clinical standards, quality and performance.
Working collaboratively with the practice team and other leaders across the region.
Championing our company values and embedding them into everyday practice.
Supporting practice growth through service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Using financial information, KPIs and business data to identify opportunities and drive performance.
Building strong relationships across multiple practices to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Supporting change, innovation and new ways of working.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
MRCVS registration and experience working as a veterinary surgeon.
Ideally experience in and a passion for leadership, coaching and developing others.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to engage and motivate teams.
Commercial awareness with confidence interpreting KPIs and financial performance.
A collaborative and adaptable approach.
A commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care and outstanding client service.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
