An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director to join the leadership team at PetMedics, working alongside our existing Clinical Director, Amy, in a co-CD capacity. This is a permanent position, based at our RCVS-accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospital in Manchester.

PetMedics is a thriving group comprising a large, state-of-the-art 24-hour veterinary hospital, a fully refurbished first opinion practice, and a consulting site. Our team includes 37 veterinary surgeons, most of whom are Certificate Holders or on Certificate pathways, a Certificate-holding RVN team, patient care assistants, and dedicated receptionists - all committed to delivering exceptional care.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
A practicing vet with excellent clinical standards and communication skills
Experienced in leading teams and fostering a positive culture
Organised, motivated, and passionate about clinical and commercial development
Certificate holders or those working towards one are encouraged to apply
Your Role Will Include:
Co-leading the clinical team and promoting best practice
Line management and mentoring of clinical staff
Strategic planning and delivery of regulatory compliance
Budget setting and implementation
Supporting recruitment and retention efforts
Representing PetMedics positively within the wider community
You'll be supported by an experienced management team, with access to leadership development and CPD opportunities to further your clinical and managerial growth.
