Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

Life at RVG Stevenage (Great Ashby)

Great Ashby Vets is a busy, first opinion, 24-hour Hospital with a passionate team of vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists. Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, lap spay equipment, multiparameters, and ultrasound, along with a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon who visits the practice for orthopaedic procedures, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.

The practice benefits from a fantastic residential location, making it highly accessible. Surrounded by strong community and nearby green spaces, the practice enjoys as a loyal client base, creating a consistent and rewarding caseload. Excellent transport links provide easy access, while the proximity to Stevenage town centre offers local amenities shops, and leisure facilities.

No two days at Great Ashby are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and providing clinical support for a team of Veterinary Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Nurses
• Conducting 1-2-1s and appraisals
• Delivering inpatient care and running nurse clinics / consults.
• Championing continuous improvement across the practice and promoting the highest standard of animal care.

About you

We're looking for a dedicated Clinical Lead Veterinary Nurse to join our Stevenage team. You will: 
 

• Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to both our patients and their owners every day. 

• Support the outcome of patients care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team. 

• Ensure Quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition- ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient 

• Learn, develop and grow with us, taking advantage of ongoing training and development opportunities offered by CVS and our practice. 

• Contribute to creating a positive environment, fostering a friendly, welcoming and supportive team culture. 

• Communicate with confidence, use your exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to build strong, lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and the pets they love.  

Our ideal candidate will be a minimum of 2 years qualified. Leadership experience is desirable.
