Are you a dedicated veterinary surgeon with a passion for both clinical care and the intricacies of veterinary pharmacy? We invite you to become an integral part of our esteemed practice, where your expertise in dispensing will be highly valued and supported.

 

About Us: Animed was established in 2010 and sells medicines, pet food and other animal related products to customers across the UK via its website Pet Foods | Pet Prescription Medication | Pet Accessories.  Animed has an online turnover of over £40m p.a in the UK and has plans in place to expand sales across other European markets in the near future. We are passionate about what we do and the outstanding service we provide to our customers and their pets, whether they be two-legged, four legged, feathered or finned!

 

Working hours: 24 hours per week, working across Friday, Saturday and Sunday 08:00-17:00. You will be expected to work one day a week in the office (Friday)

 

Role Overview: As a Dispensing Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal health and well-being of our patients through accurate and efficient medication dispensing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough consultations and crafting precise treatment plans.
  • Dispensing medications with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring compliance with veterinary guidelines.
  • Providing clear guidance to pet owners on medication administration and potential side effects.
  • Collaborating with our veterinary team to support holistic patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of pharmaceutical dispensation and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary degree and registration with MRCVS
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on dispensing.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
