We would like to invite applications for an ECVAA Anaesthesia Residency. We are seeking a veterinary surgeon who is committed to delivering the highest standards of veterinary care for patients and clients alike and who is enthusiastic about advancing their career through a structured, specialist training programme.
In addition to comprehensive training in veterinary anaesthesia and pain management, this residency offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in perioperative and critical care. The programme includes dedicated time working alongside our ECC clinicians—including an ACVECC/ECVECC Specialist and ACVIM/ECVIM Internal Medicine Specialists—designed to strengthen your clinical acumen in managing acutely unwell and high-risk patients. This integrated approach not only enhances your perioperative care capabilities but also broadens your skill set, improving your confidence and employability as a specialist.
You will join our friendly and collaborative team of five ECVAA Specialists, three ECVAA residents, and a large, experienced team of RVNs, working closely with our ECC and multidisciplinary referral teams. We are committed to structured teaching, mentorship, and professional development in all aspects of clinical anaesthesia and pain management, including exposure to both small and large animal cases.
We are proud of our supportive and genuinely collegial working environment, where wellbeing is a priority for all members of the team.
