Equine Ambulatory Vet Required

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic equine ambulatory vet to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become lead equine vet within an experienced large animal team of 5 vets and a vet tech.

We are a predominantly farm practice but have a great mix of equine clients, from hacking ponies, competition horses and stud work. This a 100% equine role with no farm work required.

What We're Looking For:

  • A confident and motivated vet with a passion for equine ambulatory work
  • Somone who is keen to expand current clinical services offered
  • Someone who values work-life balance and is keen to develop professionally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-opinion care to equine patients in the field
  • Carry out routine procedures such as dental work, vettings, vaccinations and health checks
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of equine conditions and injuries
  • Offer clear advice and support to clients on equine health and welfare
  • Lead and drive equine clinical standards within the practice
