Hospital Internship
We are currently inviting applications for our next hospital intern positions starting in November 2026 and March 2027.
This is an eighteen-month Internship programme suitable for new or recently qualified graduates.
Interns work in all of the hospital areas and have patient care responsibility under the supervision of a large team of specialist senior clinicians. Interns also have the opportunity to attend some ambulatory calls in the later stages of the internship. There is also the opportunity to undertake a small clinical research project and/or write up a case report for publication (voluntary).
There is currently a 1:3 out of hours weekday and weekends Rota, and accommodation is provided in purpose-built flats on site.
Our internships provide a suitable foundation for most equine post-graduate specialist qualifications and also provide excellent training for general or specialist equine practice.
Applicants should be MRCVS registered, or eligible to be so. To make an application please click apply now. You will need to upload a CV, a covering letter stating why you want to apply for the internship, and the contact details of three independent referees (email and telephone if possible) before Wednesday 31st December 2025.
