Equine Veterinary Nurse – Full Time (Part Time/Job Share considered)
Endell Equine Hospital, Salisbury
We are looking for a Full-Time (Part Time/Job Share would be considered) REVN / RVN to join our hospital on the outskirts of Salisbury in Wiltshire. You will be based at the hospital, working alongside our surgical and medical specialists and our team of ambulatory vets.
This is an exciting time to join us. Our team of specialists has recently expanded, and this is a new position, allowing us to expand into the workload and cases we are seeing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic REVN to join our nursing team. Under the guidance of our head nurse Hannah, we have a team of 1 x REVN, 2 x SVN's, 2 PCA's and a groom. We are looking for a new REVN to bring their clinical skills to the role, helping us to train and develop our less experienced nurses.
We are a busy hospital with a growing case load of both first opinion and referral cases. The role will involve the care of demanding surgical and medical cases. You must be prepared to take on the role of clinical coach (we can train you) so enthusiasm for all things clinical and training must be your passion, alongside great communication skills and good organisation. Equine experience is essential; you must be confident in handling all horses from youngsters through to competition horses.
