This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week on a hybrid basis at our Head Office in Diss.
Summary of role:
The role has responsibility of being a Finance Assistant across both the Management Accounts and Treasury teams.
The principal aspects of the role are:
Support and assist Treasury and Management Accounts team with day to day tasks as directed by Treasury Team Leader and Management Accounts Manager
Reconciliation of balance sheets and till reconciliations and bank accounts as required
Review and manage nominals as instructed
Manage inboxes, calls and queries as required
Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business
Key Responsibilities
Management Accounts
Support and assist the Management Accounts team to enable the team to fulfil their core responsibilities to the business at the highest level
Assist in the month end process by collating and processing data for input into the financial systems
Assist in the reconciliation of monthly balance sheets
Assist in the review of nominal ledgers and make accruals and prepayments for income and costs accordingly
Assist in maintaining the email inboxes and dealing with queries from the business
Assist the Management Accounts team in the resolution of queries received from Management Accounts Manager or other colleagues across the business as directed.
Treasury
Support and assist the Treasury Team to enable them to fulfil their core responsibilities
Assist in the daily management of the inboxes
Assist in the management of customer payment plans and DD collections
Assist with payments, other DD collections and admin tasks
Assist the Treasury Assistants with bank reconciliation and posting as allocated
Assist with month end as required by the Team Leader
Financial Control across both teams
Work with the Management Accounts Manager and Treasury Team Leader to help ensure high levels of compliance and financial control
Assist with the development and implementation of new and improved processes and procedures
Seek continuous development and improvement in client and customer service
Work with immediate and wider Finance Team to share ideas and provide support if required

AAT qualified or equivalent experience
Managing multiple bank accounts / reconciliations
Reconciliation experience of nominal accounts, bank accounts or similar
Multi currency experience in a finance role
