Role: Head Veterinary Nurse

Location: Ambivet Heanor

Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)

This is a Shared role in leading a large team at our Hospital Branch. 

 

We are looking for a motivated and positive RVN to lead the nursing and reception team within our practice, including but not limited to:

· Advocating and driving nurse consults and clinics

· Managing the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

· Supporting and coaching our SVN's

· Being a point of contact for the nursing team

· Ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment

We are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our forward-thinking group, made up of 6 sites, one being our hospital branch. The Hospital is well equipped with all the usual ultrasound, radiography, dentistry, endoscopic, surgical (inc laparoscopic), and ICU equipment you would expect in a top-tier 1st opinion Hospital, including our own internal laboratory. With a visiting CT Scanner to ensure even better care for patients

About You:

We are looking for someone reliable and ambitious with excellent communication, patient and client care standards, that has great attention to detail. This role would suit an RVN who is ready to take a step up in responsibility or an experienced Senior/Lead or Head Nurse looking for a better work/life balance. The ideal candidate would be someone who can lead their team with a positive and motivating style.
