Location: Seaford, East Essex
Contract: Full Time – up to 40 hours per week (Part time will be considered)
Practice Type: First opinion

Competitive Salary | up to £60,000 per annum (DOE) (FTE)

Rota Pattern: 4 days per week

Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am – 4:30pm.

No on call / no OOH (out of hours)

We are a small animal specialist site with a passionate team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists. We have a Practice Director who is very passionate about the development and well being of the team and have a Head Nurse who has 15 + years clinical expereince and loves to mentor team members to ensure we help upskill you and cater to your career progression and jouney at CVS Vets. We are nestled on the coast in the south downs by the well known beauty spot the seven sisters and have accomodation onsite for any candidates looking to relocate for this fix term contract. 

About you: 
 
We're looking for a Head Vet to join our team to support with maternity cover for up to 12 months with the possibility of this role become full time, permanent. Ideally with 4+ years' experience. Working within a culture where clinicians are empowered to make the best decisions, where improvement is encouraged and where best practice is shared, you will be:

  • As an experienced vet, (4 years'+ experience) you'll bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.

This position would suit an experienced small animal vet, preferably with a minimum of 4+ years' experience. A strong medical knowledge is required and experience in routine and emergency surgery. You will possess good communication skills and have a passion to deliver excellent care and client service.
