The role…
As head nurse you will support the Practice Director with driving overall practice productivity. You will support a nursing team made up of 4 RVN's and 2 SVN's clinical supervising experience is desirable, encouraging them to reach their full potential utilising the nurse career pathways while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture across the practice. You will support driving various clinical and non-clinical project and initiatives, PSS compliance, RPS responsibilities and Health & Safety.
What are we looking for... As a Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the practice. We are looking for someone who combines strong clinical knowledge with excellent leadership skills, ensuring operational efficiency across nursing duties, theatre preparation, inpatient care and stock control. You'll be responsible for supporting and developing the nursing team while fostering a positive, proactive working environment. Previous experience in a leadership role would be an advantage; however, this role could also suit an experienced RVN ready to take the next step in their career.
