About the role:
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing the Receptionist team, including training and providing support and guidance
Creating and managing the team rota
Supporting with Recruitment and liaising with the internal recruitment team
Additional Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
Answering phones and booking appointments
Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
Registering new clients
Completing insurance forms
Dispensing medications
Taking payments
And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Head Receptionist:
Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
Leadership skills would be highly desirable
Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
An excellent communicator with strong empathy
Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
