About Us:

At The Liverpool Vet, we strive to provide exceptional veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our team is dedicated to the well-being of our patients and the satisfaction of our clients.

We have an established and experienced team, backed by a strong and welcoming receptionist team who will ensure our clients feel at home from the moment they set foot in one of our practices or contact us.

We have a large, bright and quiet staff room/chill area upstairs, a separate cat ward, 20-minute consults, cat-friendly, clean and bright consult rooms with lots of natural light, Idexx in-house blood machines, and a top-end ultrasound machine. The practice is situated less than half a mile from Liverpool Central train station, making it an ideal location for commuters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the veterinary team, driving clinical standards and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional care to patients and clients, ensuring treatment aligns with best practice and the RCVS
  • Support the Practice Director in maintaining and improving clinical standards, contributing to strategic decisions on service delivery and growth.
  • Manage the veterinary team, including regular check-ins, competency reviews, salary discussions, and rota planning in collaboration with the Practice Director.
  • Collaborate on business performance, including budgeting, financial planning, and client service optimisation.
  • Perform advanced clinical procedures, including emergency surgeries such as exploratory laparotomies, pleural effusion drainage, and feline urinary obstruction management.
  • Champion innovation, introducing forward-thinking medical and surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Build strong client relationships, delivering gold-standard care and clear, compassionate communication.

  • A mentor who thrives on developing and supporting others

  • A collaborative team player who brings energy and professionalism
