Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join us and help lead our dedicated teams at our modern, well-equipped practice based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
We currently employ a team of 9 vets across 2 services, several of which have either gained or are working towards advanced certificates (medicine, surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology)
🩺 We are seeking an experienced vet to fulfil the following role:
Take clinical leadership in a 24-hour veterinary hospital setting
Guide, mentor, and support junior vets ,nursing staff and veterinary students (Surrey University partner practice)
Contribute to the continuous development of clinical protocols and standards
Collaborate closely with the Practice Director and other team leaders on operational decisions
Deliver exceptional patient and client care
✅ What We're Looking For:
MRCVS with experience in small animal practice
Confident in leading a clinical team with strong mentoring and coaching skills
Decisive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement

1:6 weekend day shift
Salary up to £74k (DOE)
