Yew Tree Veterinary Surgery are looking for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. We are a friendly, professional and supportive team located just outside Manchester city centre and within 7 miles of Manchester's International Airport!
You will enjoy a 4-day working week with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a full-time basis but with no OOH, as this is covered by the local PetMedics Veterinary Hospital, giving you a great work-life balance. Salary for this role is £55-75k, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
We have a varied caseload with a generous rota to ensure a good work/life balance for our team.
The role
This role will require you to lead and mentor the clinical team within our practice. To achieve this, you will be supported by a fantastic vet and nursing team who are passionate about patient care. This team offers you a strong, caring and supportive mix of RVN's, PCA's and receptionists.
You will be supported by a Practice Director to help implement, review and support clinical excellence and develop the patient and client journey for our well-established client base.
A key part of your role will also be to work closely with local sites to build bonds and create a local support network within CVS.

Salary, hours and benefits
Salary is £55-75k, dependent on experience, plus benefits.
Working hours are Weekdays 8:00 am – 7:00 pm (day off to be agreed) Saturday 8:30 am – 1:30 pm
