Learning, Education & Development (LED) Coordinator

Hybrid | Harrogate | 40 Hours | Monday–Friday

Salary: TBC

A great opportunity with genuine work-life balance.

CVS Group plc is an international veterinary services provider operating across the UK and Australia. We deliver care through our veterinary practices, diagnostic laboratories, pet crematoria and e-commerce division. With over 500 practices and more than 8,000 colleagues, our people are at the heart of everything we do — united by a passion for animals and a commitment to making pets a priority.

We are now recruiting for a Learning, Education & Development (LED) Coordinator to join our team — supporting the delivery of training at our purpose-built Harrogate training site.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a clinical background who is looking for a new challenge away from practice life, while still supporting both clinical and non-clinical colleagues across the business.

The Role

As part of our LED team, you will play a pivotal role in organising and delivering our full training portfolio, including clinical, non-clinical, online and third-party courses.

This is a hybrid-based role focused primarily at our Harrogate training centre. Candidates should be based around our Harrogate centre to commute to site to support on-site course delivery.

You will:

Coordinate face-to-face clinical and non-clinical training courses
Organise online and virtual classroom sessions
Liaise with third-party CPD providers and external stakeholders
Support external CPD bookings, certificates and learning agreements
Process invoices, expenses and course-related payments
Be present on-site to ensure smooth course delivery
Act as the main point of contact for delegates, tutors and speakers
Set up and manage teaching facilities and equipment
Support with organising and setting up cadavers for clinical courses
Promote internal LED courses through various communication channels
Continuously improve the learner experience
This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the development of colleagues across the business.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

clinical background, either:

Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), or
Experienced Patient Care Assistant (minimum 1 year experience)
Confidence working in a clinical training environment, including being comfortable handling cadavers
A full UK driving licence
Excellent organisation and communication skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A proactive, solution-focused mindset
A strong customer-service approach
Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new systems
This would suit someone looking to move away from clinical practice into a role that still supports veterinary teams — offering structure, stability and strong work-life balance.

What We Offer

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
No weekends
No bank holidays
A supportive and collaborative team environment
The opportunity to contribute to both clinical and non-clinical colleague development
Genuine work-life balance
