We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to provide support to the Marketing Manager by creating and executing an annual marketing and communication plan, through multiple medium, focussing on our customers, suppliers and products. This marketing team are responsible for generating high quality, effective marketing and communications to drive our businesses, Vet Direct, MiVetClub and VetShare towards budget and strategic goals.
Vet Direct is a multi-functional supplier for progressive veterinary practices; fulfilling consumable, uniform, instrument and equipment needs. MiVetClub and VetShare are buying groups that are delivering extensive procurement packages for independently owned veterinary practices, to empower them to deliver affordable and high quality veterinary services to their customers. As part of the CVS Group our drive is our people; who are knowledgeable and passionate about customer care and animal welfare.
This is a home-based role with occasional travel across the North of England (Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, York). The ideal candidate for this position will be based in/around these areas.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Support development and execution of the marketing strategy and plan
Create branded collateral to support field teams, customers, members and suppliers
Day to day management of websites, content strategy and co-ordination of website development roadmap
Support other members of the business with outbound customer communications and interactions ensuring a consistent brand message
Create campaigns and automated programs to retain customers and members, increase order value as well as converting prospects into customers.
Work with internal teams e.g Technical Support Team or Relations Team to create and promote engaging education and content
Manage the day-to-day social media presence and content across key brands as determined by the strategy
Be the “go to” person in marketing for the CRM system supporting any data management requirements and data analysis of campaigns
Key skills and experience required:
Previous experience of managing social campaigns and using management tools
Proven success in delivering multi-channel campaigns
Competent in Google Analytics, Microsoft products and survey tools. Adobe suite and video editing would be a bonus
Good inter-personal skills to quickly build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns
Demonstrable experience of working well in multi-disciplined/cross-functional teams
Proven marketing experience in a business to business environment
Ideally a marketing qualification but not essential
Experience managing multi-channel campaigns
Experience within veterinary ideal but not essential
Experience within CMS systems, databases and email marketing systems
Competent in Google Analytics, Microsoft products and survey tools. Adobe suite and video editing would be a bonus
