We have an exciting new opportunity for a mixed vet to join our fantastic team at Putlands Veterinary Surgery in Paddock Wood, Kent.
Our RCVS accredited practice care for Small Animal, Farm and Equine patients and we have been established since 1977! We are a forward thinking clinic where our clinicians are able to offer an extensive range of both medical and surgical services on site. Your new role will be working in our fully equipped clinic which includes facilities such as x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic neutering, in house haematology/biochemistry machine, Tonopen, as well as ultrasound, x-ray, motorised dental rasp, fertility testing equipment for farm and equine. We have a variable caseload, including beef, sheep, dairy, camelid and smallholder clients.
We have an experienced and friendly team of vets and nurses to support you and our whole team are always willing to help and support each other. We are looking for someone who shares our values of teamwork, enthusiasm and passion for animal care. We are able to provide support and training if you do not have experience with all species as this is a truly mixed role.
The ideal candidate will be someone that has a minimum of 1 year clinical experience, works to excellent clinical standards and is enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary medicine. This position is full time, working 40 hours a week, to include 1 in 4 Saturdays and an equal share of the large animal on call with time back in lieu. A pool vehicle is provided for large animal work. Working hours between Monday – Friday 8am to 7pm, Saturday 8am – 12noon. FTE salary of £38k-£45k depending on experience.
