New Graduate Vet role – Marske Veterinary Centre -  Graduate Vet Programme  

An exciting opportunity is available for a New Graduate Vet to join our Marske Veterinary Centre in Marske-by-the-Sea, Redcar.

This is a full time, permanent position based on a 40 hour working week.

The position is to start in October.

We are a forward thinking team based in North Yorkshire, right by the sea and pride ourselves on delivering top‑quality, modern medicine and surgery.

The practice consists of three Vets, a Head Nurse, five RVNs, SVNs (maximum two at any time), four PCAs, and a dedicated support team, with an Advanced Practitioner within the practice and excellent support from our advanced clinical services network.

Equipment includes ultrasound, ECG, digital X‑ray, multiparameter monitoring and more, alongside a peripatetic orthopaedic surgeon who visits to carry out surgeries for both the practice's patients as well as for those from other local CVS practices.

All new graduates that we employ are enrolled onto our Graduate Programme which offers an excellent level of structure and support during your first years in practice.

You will also have the opportunity to attend a Residential at the start of your employment.  This will allow you to meet other new graduates and therefore establish a peer support network from the outset.  It will also let you revisit essential knowledge and practice key day one skills.

You will have an experienced clinical mentor working alongside you in your practice and in addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.
