New Graduate Vet role – Bridge Veterinary Group -  Graduate Vet Programme

An exciting opportunity is available for a New Graduate Vet to join our Bridge Veterinary Group and work between the main Hospital in Middlesbrough and branch practice in Hartlepool.

This is a full time, permanent position based on a 40 hour working week.

The position is to start in October.

You'll be joining our friendly team of 8 Vets, 10 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 6 Receptionists and 5 PCA support staff; all contributing to provide the best clinical care to our patients and clients across our sites.

We can be flexible and offer shifts at either Middlesbrough or Hartlepool.

There is no OOH's and with a dedicated night team based at the Middlesbrough Hospital, excellent continuity of care is provided.

We offer a busy practice setting with opportunity to develop own interests and advance clinical skills. Digital x-ray, Dental radiography, Doppler Ultrasound, In house laboratory, multiparameter monitor and much more!

All new graduates that we employ are enrolled onto our Graduate Programme which offers an excellent level of structure and support during your first years in practice.

You will also have the opportunity to attend a Residential at the start of your employment.  This will allow you to meet other new graduates and therefore establish a peer support network from the outset.  It will also let you revisit essential knowledge and practice key day one skills.

You will have an experienced clinical mentor working alongside you in your practice and in addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

These are just some of the benefits of joining CVS Vets as a New Graduate Vet:

  • Salary of £36,500 which is reviewed at both the end of year 1 and year 2 of the programme
  • No financial tie-in to the programme
  • Paid onboarding phase which includes a Weeks Residential.  All UK travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for the Residential will be covered by CVS
  • Professional memberships (RCVS & VDS).
