New Graduate Vet – Ayres Veterinary Hospital - NewGraduateProgramme - Small Animal Vet
An exciting opportunity has become available for a New Graduate to join our practice in North Shields. We are looking for someone to be able to start work within the next couple of months.
The Ayres team have a wealth of experience and are used to supporting less experienced colleagues to help them grow to their full potential. This is a full time, permanent position with a 1 in 6 weekend rota.
We have our main site in North Shields, near Newcastle, and branch surgeries in Whitley Bay, Cramlington and Cleadon. We pride ourselves on high clinical standards and work-up culture. Since moving to a purpose-built site in July 2024, we have added a CT in to our hospital set up.
We have hospital provision including vet and nurses in the building overnight which allows us to care for patients 24 hours a day. The successful candidate would be involved in in-patient care and should they want, be integrated into the night service with associated TOIL once appropriate experience has developed

Salary of £35,000 which increases upon completion of year 1 and year 2 of the programme
