We're looking for a dedicated Night Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital.

Dovecote is a busy referral and first opinion hospital, offering a high standard of patient care across a wide range of disciplines. With an on-site Mi-Night Vet Service, you'll be supported overnight while still enjoying the autonomy and responsibility of a rewarding night role.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who enjoys hands-on inpatient care and emergency work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients
• Assisting the midnight vet with emergencies
• Delivering high standards of nursing care throughout the night
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
• Supporting a smooth transition between day and night teams

Working Pattern

• Annualised hours contract – offering flexibility and a better work-life balance
• Structured rota allowing for consistent rest periods

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
• Confident working independently overnight
• Strong inpatient care and monitoring skills
• Calm under pressure with excellent communication
• Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
