We are looking for an OOH Vet to join our team at our new OOH Service – MiNight New Forest, based out of the fantastic Cedar Veterinary Group site.
You would be supported by a Lead Vet and very experienced vet team, including 3 RVNs and dedicated support staff. ECC experience is desirable for this role, as well as the drive to shape this role as your own. Here at CVS, we actively enjoy supporting our teams to develop, and encourage funded certificates so you are able to become an expert in your desired area.
Our new OOH service has dedicated dog and cat wards as well as an isolation ward. We also have the following facilities:
Digital radiography
Dental suite with digital dental radiography
Ultrasound with Doppler
Video endoscope
Bronchoscope
Blood gas analyser
Incubator with piped oxygen
Coagulation machine
Tonovet
Loupe
Slit lamp
Multiple infusion pumps
Syringe driver
Ecg
This role would be on a rota basis of 7 nights on, 14 nights off. Shifts are 7pm to 8am with a share in the 1:6 Sunday day rota (7:30am-19:30pm) and 2 Bank Holidays per year.
