Here at Pet Doctors Isle of Wight HUB we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated out of hours service on the Isle of Wight. Along with having the opportunity to join our dedicated veterinary team here at Pet Doctors you will also be encouraged to continue your professional development in practice.
In addition to the above we will also offer you:
Salary up to £43,500 FTE DOE
An average of 10 nights per month working 7 nights on, 14 nights off basis with 1:6 Saturday and Sundays (days), this rota can be flexible to suit your needs
Opportunity for overtime on day shifts

Who are we?
Pet Doctors Veterinary Hospital is based in the heart of the Isle of Wight, which is just a 20 minute ferry ride from Southampton or Portsmouth, with links to London
The Isle of Wight hosts a vast amount of beautiful countryside and beach walks, historic landmarks, and an abundance of local produce and eateries.
We are based within a purpose-built building with the most up to date facilities. We have four consult rooms, two surgery suites, in-house lab, ultrasound scanner, digital and dental x-rays, CT scanner and endoscopy. We are an accredited hospital registered with the RCVS.
Applicant requirements: You will be an experienced, hardworking nurse who is friendly and warm and maintains high clinical standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to put your nursing skills to good use working alongside the dedicated OOH vet team, providing triage and intensive care at an excellent standard, to a variety of interesting cases involving both emergency patients and in-patients.
