About the Role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
Covering Reception when needed, including answering phones, booking appointments and undertaking all other Reception duties
Till reconciliation, banking and month-end accounts
Assisting with debt collection and processing
Administrative and secretarial support, including diary management
Assist with general queries and requests into central email inboxes, taking ownership of tasks from start to finish, liaising with the requestor and keeping them informed
Completing insurance claims
Maintenance of relevant electronic files
Undertake, or provide assistance on projects
What we're looking for in our Practice Administrator:
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to use positive language
Co-operative and solution-focused, in addition to a strong customer and team focus
Demonstrate a high level of organisation & time management skills, particularly in an environment with multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities
Demonstrated ability to handle information of a sensitive nature and maintain confidentiality at all times
Strong administrative experience
Previous experience in veterinary healthcare or a services-oriented environment would be advantageous
